OUTPOST

 

Overview

The Dusey Lake Outpost camp is located 70 air miles north of the village of Nakina on a protected peninsula of land on the southeast shoreline. Water access comes via an 8'x 22' floating dock.

The cabin is 16' x 32' and is fronted with an 8' x 22' deck that has a 6' overhang for storing waders, rain jackets, and extra gear. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably but can accommodate up to 8 guests.

DUSEY LAKE CABIN ACCOMMODATIONS:

  • 110 Power via  Honda 2000 generator with a 12 gallon extended-run fuel tank 

  • 25,000 BTU propane direct-vent forced air furnace  

  • Fully equipped, modern kitchen, including cookware, plates bowls, cutlery, coffee pot, and cups

  • Propane vented range/oven

  • 110v 14 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer

  • Pressurized hot & cold running water (must be filtered for consumption) Running water may not be available after mid September.

  • Indoor bathroom with a shower.

  • Composting toilet

  • Dining table and chairs

  • All sheets, pillows, and blankets are furnished as well as all bath towels, hand towels, and dish towels.

  • Katadyn Base Camp water filtration system.

The Dusey Lake Outpost has an outdoor propane grill, a propane fish cooker for the chef in your group, and a metal fire ring for campfires. 

CAMP WATERCRAFT INCLUDES: 

  • 1 - 14ft. Lund aluminum deep- v and 1-16ft. Lund boats

  • 2 - 14 ft. Naden aluminum deep- v

Boats are equipped with four stroke Honda and Suzuki outboards. There is also a 2.5 HP Suzuki four-stroke portage motor for trips up and down the Dusey River. All outboards are equipped with rock guards. Boats have padded boat seats, anchors, oars, life jackets, throw cushions, boat safety kits.

Prices include all applicable taxes, airfare, all cabin amenities, satellite SPOT-X communicators use for the week. Individual licenses excluded.
